There is no point in lugging around your full kit of makeup with you to prepare you for the different events in a day but there are few essentials you can carry that will fit into your purse and make do for a quick fix always.
- Tinted primer
One of the basic mantras of Makeup is never skipping the primer. But applying primer, foundation, and other heavy makeup are time and space consuming. Instead, get a tinted primer that will not only help you prep your skin but also give you basic coverage.
- Pressed powder
The pressed powder comes in a compact case that is easy to carry. It can be used wet or dry and replace the foundation with the coverage you need.
- Concealer
Get a spot concealer that you can dab and blend with your fingers. Get the shade specific to your skin type. The spot concealer will hide any breakouts and enhance the finish of your skin.
- Eyeliner and mascara
Eyeliner and mascara define your eyes and give the lashes the lift that makes them look thick and curly. A thin line of eyeliner or the classic cat-eye will amp the eye makeup and alter your face considerably.
- Lipstick
You can pull off a red lipstick with anything, but if you have space throw in a few more subtle shades you can multi-use as blush and eyeshadow.
- Lip balm
If you don’t want the full-blown made-up face and want to keep it subtle you can use a tinted lip balm for a natural fresh look. It will keep your lips hydrated and smooth through the day.
- Makeup swabs
Keep a small container of cotton swabs and soak them in make up remover. They can be used to correct your make up on the go instead of washing and cleansing your face.
