A merry day to celebrate with your loved ones and friends gathered to commemorate the start of a journey. Mehendi is the best of the wedding ceremonies. Well, read this article to get an idea of the general do’s and don’ts.
Do’s and don’ts
- No application of Mehendi on the day of the ceremony. This will not help as it might stick to your hair and create a mess while you try to move. Remember, you are expected to sit in the same spot for a while. So it is best to sit with dry Mehendi and not fresh, wet Mehendi that is yet to set. Do your Mehendi the night before.
- Get a Mani/Pedi and let your hands and feet look fly! That’s where the camera would focus so it is important they look their best. Choose your favorite nail color and apply them before the application of the Mehendi.
- Applying moisturizer to your hand/feet on the day you are going to be applying your Mehendi is a bad idea. It blocks the henna and the application won’t have good results.
- Go for a hairdo that is easy to manage and that isn’t too flowing. It might require you to constantly keep brushing your hair away if your hair is let loose. Go for a semi-bun look or a neatly braided look.
Follow these rules to get the best look on your Mehendi and you are going to look great on the day of your Mehendi ceremony!
